Keizo Asami Immunopathology Laboratory (LIKA-UFPE)

Professor Jones Albuquerque is a Professor at the Department of Statistics and Informatics at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (DEINFO-UFRPE). He is a research scientist at the Keizo Asami Immunopathology Laboratory (LIKA-UFPE), and at the National Institute of Science and Technology for Software Engineering (INCT-INES). He holds the post as the Vice-Coordinator at Pernambuco’s Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction (IRRD-PE). In addition, he is the founding partner and director of knowledge for the Epitrack (https://www.epitrack.tech/) and Health Drones (http://www.healthdrones.tech/#body). He is renowned for his extensive experience in Emergency Response in Extreme Events, Software Engineering and Mathematical-Computational Modeling applied to Health, specifically in the following lines of software engineering, computational epidemiology and mathematical-computational modeling. He holds Scientific, Technological and Sport Achievement Awards.
