Ana Clara Gomes da Silva received her bachelor’s in mathematics from Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). She has already acted as a substitute professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Professor of the Computer Science Course at the Faculty of Technology and Sciences (FATEC-PE) and Professor of the Mathematics Laboratory Extension Course at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE). She is currently a master student in Biomedical Engineering at Federal University of Pernambuco, and her research focuses on temporal and spatiotemporal prediction of Covid-19 in Brazil and spatiotemporal prediction of arboviruses transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito in the city of Recife. Her areas of interest are digital epidemiology, biomedical computing, dynamic forecasting systems, computational intelligence, and artificial intelligence applied to medicine and biology.
