Clarisse received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco. She is currently a PhD student in Computer Engineering at the Polytechnic School of the University of Pernambuco (Poli-UPE), and her research focuses on spatiotemporal forecast of diseases transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito in the city of Recife-PE. Her areas of interest are computational intelligence, digital epidemiology, biomedical computing, and artificial intelligence applied to medicine and biology.
