I am an ecologist based in UCL’s Centre for Biodiversity and Environment Research and am a post-doctoral researcher on the MEWAR Project. Broadly, I am interested in understanding the impacts of environmental change on biodiversity populations in space and time and identifying measures to mitigate negative effects. I have a particular passion for bats, acoustic monitoring, and citizen science. These topics were the focus of my PhD, where I used Bayesian hierarchical modelling methods to assess temporal and spatial patterns in bat populations trends estimated using acoustic citizen science data. In my role on the MEWAR Project, I will use spatiotemporal models to investigate how fine-scale climate and socio-economic factors affect the occurrence of mosquito breeding sites.
