Associate Professor at the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences (IAG), University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil. She has a BSc, MSc and PhD in Meteorology from USP, and her research focuses on atmospheric numerical models, regional climate simulations, climatology, climate change, and studies related to cyclonic activity over South America and the South Atlantic Ocean. She is currently the contact point of the Coordinated Regional Downscaling Experiment (CORDEX) for the South American modelling domain.
